Global Public Safety, LLC, Completes Asset Purchase of Carolina Emergency Lighting & Equipment, a North Carolina Vehicle Services Upfitting Supplier

HANOVER, MARYLAND: Global Public Safety, LLC (Global), the vehicle upfitting and public safety technology company, announces that on August 16, 2019, an agreement was reached with Carolina Emergency Lighting & Equipment, a North Carolina based up-fit services company, finalizing the asset purchase of Carolina Emergency Lighting & Equipment to Global effective August 20, 2019, which will incorporate the acquired assets and employees of the company into its overall operations, retaining its location in Statesville, NC for the short term until a new larger facility in the general area can be secured and retrofitted.

With this purchase, Global, a subsidiary of LB&B Associates Inc., continues the significant expansion of its public safety solutions business under President & CEO Keith Nason and LB&B leadership.

A Leading Provider of the Quality Police and Emergency Vehicle Upfitting

Prior to its asset purchase by Global, and operating out of Statesville, North Carolina, Carolina Emergency Lighting & Equipment had established itself as a provider of high quality upfitting of police and other emergency vehicle equipment including fire service market, selling forestry vehicles, UTV’s and repairs on fire apparatus of all styles and sizes. Carolina Emergency Lighting & Equipment has built long-term relationships with its law enforcement and fire / rescue customers while at the same time becoming a leading name in the local public safety community. In addition, Carolina Emergency Lighting & Equipment was known for its extensive product knowledge, high quality installation techniques and on-site repairs and its responsive customer service. All these characteristics and achievements are expected to continue and be enhanced as Carolina Emergency Lighting & Equipment becomes a part of Global through this asset purchase.
